1. Acceptance of terms
These terms apply to the website itechnicia.com, the student portal and every course offered by Technicia Computer Education Pvt. Ltd. ("Technicia", "the Institute"). By using the website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services or enrol.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must provide accurate and complete information. A student under 18 years of age may enrol only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the student's compliance with these terms and for all fees payable.
3. Admission and fees
- Admission is confirmed only after the registration process is completed and the registration fee and first instalment are received.
- Fees are as communicated in writing at the time of admission and are payable in full on the agreed dates, under the one-time, instalment or monthly plan chosen by the student.
- Late payment fees, where applicable, are as stated in the fee policy shared with the student at admission.
- If dues are not cleared by the due date, the Institute may restrict access to classes, study material, exams and the student portal until the dues are paid, and may withhold results and certificates.
- Fees are not transferable to another student or to another person. Refunds are governed solely by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Classes, batches and schedule
The Institute may change the batch timing, faculty, class mode, syllabus sequence, holidays and schedule when it considers it necessary, and may merge or reschedule batches. Such changes do not entitle the student to a refund. Regular attendance is expected, and the Institute may mark and report attendance to the student and the parent or guardian.
5. Student conduct
Students must follow the Institute's rules and treat staff, faculty and fellow students with respect. They must take care of the lab, computers and equipment, and must not misuse the network, software or study material. The Institute may suspend or remove a student for misconduct, damage to property, harassment, or any breach of these terms. In such a case, no refund is payable, and the student remains liable for the dues and any damage caused.
6. Student portal and account security
Login details are personal. The student is responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity under the account, and must change the initial password after the first login. Sharing credentials or attempting to access another account or the systems without permission may lead to suspension.
7. Exams, results and certificates
- Module exams are conducted online. The Project, Practical and Viva assessment is held offline after the final module exam, and a single combined mark is entered for it.
- A certificate is issued only when the student meets the passing requirement of the course (33% or above) and has cleared all dues.
- Every certificate carries a unique number that can be verified on our website. The Institute may withhold, suspend or cancel a result or certificate if it was obtained through incorrect information, impersonation, copying or any other unfair practice.
- Exam rules, grading and cycles are as published by the Institute from time to time. The decision of the Institute on exam and result matters is final.
8. Placement support
The Institute provides career guidance, resume support, interview preparation and introductions to hiring partners. Selection, salary and the final decision rest entirely with the employer. The Institute does not guarantee a job, an interview, an internship or any salary, and no part of the fee is paid for such a result.
9. Course content and results
Course descriptions, durations and outcomes on the website are for general information and may be updated. Learning outcomes depend on the student's attendance, effort and practice, and the Institute does not guarantee any particular result, grade or career outcome.
10. Intellectual property
The website, course material, notes, videos, tests, logos and the Technicia name belong to the Institute or its licensors. They are provided for the student's personal learning only. They must not be copied, recorded, shared, resold or published without written permission. A breach may lead to action under the law.
11. Communication
By providing your contact details, you agree that the Institute may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email about your enquiry, admission, fees, attendance, exams, results and certificates. You can ask us to stop promotional messages at any time.
12. Website use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, submit false information, or use automated tools to collect data from it. Information on the website may change without notice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Institute is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of opportunity or income, or loss arising from events beyond its reasonable control. Where liability is established, it is limited to the fee actually paid by the student for the course concerned.
14. Indemnity
The student (and the parent or guardian, where applicable) agrees to compensate the Institute for any loss or claim arising from a breach of these terms, misuse of the services, or damage to the Institute's property.
15. Events beyond our control
The Institute is not responsible for a delay or interruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural events, power or internet failure, strikes, government orders or public emergencies. Classes or exams may be moved to another date or to online mode in such a case.
16. Changes to these terms
The Institute may update these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date shown on this page, and continued use of the services means that you accept it.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the fee policy shared at admission, form the entire agreement between the student and the Institute. Nothing in these terms limits any right that a consumer has under law and cannot be waived.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first write to the Institute with your concern, and we will work to resolve it in good faith. Any dispute that remains will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
